In Russia, the new Toyota Fortuner is offered in four versions. Moreover, the first 2 basic versions come only with a basic “aspirated”.
Standard
The initial equipment of the Japanese model is estimated at 2.706 million rubles. Already in this modification, 7 seats and 2 differentials appear. Along with the initial configuration, buyers can purchase LED lighting, a manual parking brake, steel rims with a diameter of 17 inches and headlights with an automatic function. The list of standard equipment includes:
- electrically heated side mirrors with servo drive and turn signal repeaters;
- multifunction steering wheel, which can be adjusted for reach and height (new option);
- 4 power windows;
- central locking with remote control key;
- 3 airbags, including one knee;
- anti-lock brake system;
- assistant for emergency braking;
- wheel slip prevention system.
In the starting configuration, you can also find sensors for monitoring tire pressure, an assistant when starting uphill and an electronic stabilization control system. For comfort in the basic version of Fortuner, air conditioning, a rear-view camera and a four-speaker stereo system are responsible. In addition, a full-size spare tire is supplied with the Japanese SUV.
Comfort
The Comfort version, estimated at 3.094 million rubles, expands the list of basic equipment due to:
- automatic transmission;
- aluminum rims;
- multimedia with 8-inch touch screen;
- six columns;
- two parking sensors located in the front and rear bumpers;
- speed control systems;
- four side airbags;
- electric heating for the steering wheel, first row seats and windshield.

elegans
The third complete set of the Japanese model is offered for a minimum of 3.364 million rubles. In this version, there are climatic equipment, an additional interior heater and an engine heater. In addition, only a turbodiesel engine is used in the elegans modification.
Prestige
Toyota Fortuner 2022 in the top version will cost a minimum of 3.638 million rubles. This version differs from the previous ones due to the appearance of new taillights, an assistant when descending a mountain, a keyless entry system, an electric driver’s seat and an engine start button. All seats in this configuration are trimmed with artificial leather. And the standard rims are replaced by 18-inch ones.

Design
As part of the latest modernization, Toyota has made quite serious changes to the body design. In particular, the manufacturer has redesigned the radiator grille, which has become wider. Its pattern has also changed, and wide metal inserts now lie on the sides. The front optics after restyling became longer, but narrower. By default, it is complemented by LED lights. The front bumper has also undergone noticeable improvements, on the sides of which there are large air vents with fog lights, and below – LED DRL strips. In the center is a compact air intake, which is covered with metal protection. The stern of the Japanese model has become more sheer, due to which the area of \u200b\u200bthe rear glazing has increased. Under it, narrowed and elongated LED lights also appeared, the shape of which varies depending on the type of modification.
Salon at Fortuner, as before, has a relatively simple design. The Japanese model has a built-in touch screen in the center console, under which there are physical on-board electronics control keys. The transmission tunnel is located quite low, which may be inconvenient for some drivers. In addition, the steering wheel and analog instrument panel look outdated.
