What’s new?
For 2019, the Jeep Renegade gets a new 1.3L turbocharged engine that boasts not only more torque than the base 2.4L engine, but also more crispness and smoothness.
This is exactly the unit that the model needed, despite the fact that it is paired with the same unsuccessful 9-speed automatic transmission that has become the scourge of all compact Jeep models.
Before buying, be sure to test it on a test drive in order to decide whether you can put up with its work or not.
If you do not pay attention to the annoying drawback described above, then we can say that Renegade is deservedly one of the leaders in its segment.
It’s important to understand that the new 2019 Jeep Renegade has gone through its first major update. The style of the model was revised, as a result of which it received full diode lighting.
Other innovations include adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors and an automatic parking system. However, the main update is still the engine.
The previous unit with a volume of 2.4 liters is now installed in the basic version.
And more advanced ones are equipped with a new 1.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Also included as standard is a 9-speed automatic transmission, which has not been updated.
The price of the new model in 2019 will vary from $19,000 – $27,495 depending on the configuration.

The quality of materials and assembly of the cabin is at a very decent level and is consistent with the class of the car.
