The quality of materials and assembly of the cabin is at a very decent level and is consistent with the class of the car.

Despite its compactness, Jeep Renegade interior easily accommodates five passengers, where the front riders are offered comfortable seats with good lateral support, a lot of adjustments and high-quality padding.

Trunk volume in a five-seater version of the cabin it is equal to 351 liters, and with the backs of the second row of seats folded down, it reaches 1297 liters. In the underground of the luggage compartment there was a place for a spare tire and a small repair kit, which is indispensable on long trips.

Engines, transmission, fuel consumption

The Sport and Latitude trims come standard with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 180 hp and 237 Nm of torque. All Renegade are fitted with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

All versions are front-wheel drive as standard, with all-wheel drive available as an option.

The estimated value of fuel consumption for a car with all-wheel drive in the urban cycle is 11.2 l / 100 km, outside the city – 8.1 l / 100 km, in the combined cycle – 9.8 l / 100 km.

For the front-wheel drive version, the values ​​\u200b\u200bare as follows: 10.7 / 7.6 / 9.4 l / 100 km, respectively. The performance in both options is quite low, as for this segment of cars.

Optional for these versions is a new 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine (also installed as standard in the Trailhawk and Limited trim levels), which develops 177 hp. and torque 271 N.m.

Along with it, the car is equipped with a Start / Stop system and active front grille blinds (in all trim levels except Trailhawk) to increase fuel efficiency.

At the time of this writing, official fuel consumption figures for the new Jeep Renegade with this engine have not been made public, but they should definitely be better than those of the base 2.4-liter engine.
