The 2023 Changan CS35 Plus is a compact SUV that recently received a new body. However, according to the photos published on the official website of the manufacturer, such a modification of the car has not yet arrived on the Russian market. In our country, the crossover is presented with the same trim levels, but its prices have recently increased significantly. Probably, after the new version arrives in Russia, the Chinese model will retain the same technical characteristics.
Comfort
The basic version of the Chinese model is now estimated at 1.96 million rubles. This version provides for “mechanics”. The appearance of the “machine” will cost an additional 110 thousand rubles. That is, the difference in price between the modifications of the car has not changed. When buying a basic version of the Chinese model, you can count on:
- electronic power steering;
- aluminum wheels with a diameter of 16 inches;
- halogen head optics with LED DRL and auto-on function;
- LED rear lighting;
- heated rear-view mirrors with electrically adjustable positions;
- multifunction steering wheel with vertical adjustment;
- central locking with remote control key;
- 4 electric windows;
- 2 airbags.
As standard, all seats in the Chinese model are covered with fabric. The position of the driver’s seat due to the mechanical drive can be adjusted in six directions, the front passenger seat – only in four. Despite the shortage of microchips, Changan still supplies the Russian market with CS35 Plus with a standard set of security systems and comfortable options:
- slip prevention;
- anti-blocking brake mechanisms;
- help with emergency braking;
- electronic stability control of the body;
- tire pressure monitoring;
- air conditioning in the cabin;
- stereo system.
The entry-level version also includes a small spare tire, an anti-dazzle rear-view mirror, a 10.25-inch touch screen and 4 speakers. The built-in multimedia is complemented by a memory drive, which sets the Changan CS35 Plus apart from the Hyundai Creta. But otherwise, the list of equipment available in the basic versions of both models is similar to each other.

The Chinese crossover is offered in two trim levels: Luxury and Flagship. The technical characteristics of the Exeed TXL after restyling in Russia provide for a single 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine paired with a robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive transmission.

The Lexury package is equipped with six airbags, diode head optics, light and rain sensors, dual-zone climate control, heated all seats, steering wheel and windshield, leather interior and power front seats, parking sensors front and rear, all-round cameras, engine start with buttons, a complex of electronic assistants, cruise control. The price of this configuration starts from 3,999,000 rubles.
The Flagship package is equipped with the same features as the Lexury, but in addition it also has front seat ventilation, a panoramic roof, multi-color interior lighting, a Sony audio system, cruise control, traffic sign recognition and lane keeping. The price of such a rich configuration is 4,249,000 rubles.
Specifications
In the Russian market, the SUV is offered only with all-wheel drive. The suspension of this car is independent, on both axles there are passive shock absorbers and springs, anti-roll bars. The new body is built on the basis of a front-wheel drive platform made of high-strength steel grades. The SUV is 4,775 meters long, 1,885 meters wide, and 1,706 meters high. The trunk volume is 461 liters, and the fuel tank is 55 liters. The crossover is driven by a 1.6-liter inline turbo four. It works in conjunction with Getrag’s seven-speed dual-clutch robot, developing 186 hp. and 275 Nm. This combination allows the car to accelerate from zero to hundreds in 9.8 seconds. The maximum speed is declared at the level of 185 km / h.
Salon
The salon is made in the power of minimalism, there is nothing superfluous. A multimedia touch screen that produces a high-quality picture, as well as a touch-sensitive climate control panel, which is located within easy reach for the driver. Leather interior, but the driver’s seat has a tall landing, which will not be very convenient for people with a height of 190 cm and above. There is an armrest, a steering wheel with a multimedia system, which may not distract the driver from the road, on the left are the power window buttons for all windows in the car.
