The Seltos 1.6 with a gun rides quite confidently in the mud, calmly starts in blurred ruts. But the car has problems on the mechanics. Of course, the current crossovers are not designed based on our tracks, but for the version with a manual gearbox, the gear ratio of the first gear should be increased (now 3.91 versus 4.40 for the version with hydromechanics) – then Seltos will be more confident on the primer. But at the same time, the gap between the first and second will become even larger – will you have to cut the entire transmission row?

Whether the Koreans will make such sacrifices, I don’t know. In the meantime, I see no particular reason, other than economic, for acquiring a Seltos with a manual. It is inferior both in ease of use, and in overclocking dynamics, and in noise – in all respects, the version with a gun is better and more pleasant. And the difference in price is noticeable: the surcharge for a machine with the same level of equipment is about 40,000 rubles.
