Review
Dacia Jogger was created according to a long-established scheme: the donor in the form of a sedan received a stretched wheelbase and an enlarged body – also stretched, starting from the B-pillar, with a higher roof and station wagon-style stern.
Unlike Logan MCV, this car will not only have a five-seater, but also with a third row of passenger seats. In such modifications, the rear windows will be turned into vents, and another common difference from the previous combi-logan will be a lifting tailgate instead of two hinged ones.
Exterior
The front end of the 2022 Dacia Jogger station wagon is exactly reminiscent of the Sandero Stepway. Thanks to this, as well as a large plastic body kit on the wheel arches and the same black massive roof rails, the car looks “off-road”.
At the back, the Jogger is decorated with vertical lights a la Volvo and a “clean” bumper with a wide diffuser. On the trunk lid, a black bar has been preserved, under which the license plate area is located. And above it will now show off the name of the brand.
The new station wagon is 4.55 meters (179 inches) long, making the Jogger the longest member of the current Dacia lineup. Of course, this is done, first of all, for the possibility of installing a third row of seats, while with a five-seat layout, 708 liters of free space appear in the trunk. By removing the backs of the sofa, the volume of the luggage compartment can be increased to an impressive 1819 liters.
Salon
The interior of the novelty does not present any surprises, since it offers the usual layout with an “overhead” central screen and a modest design of the central tunnel. It is noteworthy that the cheapest modification of the station wagon will go without a multimedia display at all, which will be replaced by a mobile phone holder.
At the same time, analog scales will appear under the “tidy” visor, but the climate control panel will be borrowed from the more expensive and status Renault, so it will have rotating handles with small LED displays.
Also in the equipment of the initial version – a multifunction steering wheel and rain and light sensors. Of course, in the “top” version of the configuration, the car will represent a qualitatively different class of universal cars.

There is no choice of powertrains at the start: the new Jogger is equipped with a 3-cylinder TCe 1-liter turbocharged engine. It is available in two versions: petrol with a capacity of 110 liters. With. and dual-fuel Eco-G 100 (gasoline plus propane) for 101 hp. With a full tank of gasoline (50 liters) and a bottle of gas (40 liters), the car is able to travel 1100 km. The only gearbox is a 6-speed manual.
In a little over a year, in January 2023, a station wagon with a hybrid power plant will appear – the first hybrid Dacia! Such a Jogger will receive E-Tech, a technology known from European Renault models. It is based on a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine, to which an electric motor, a starter-generator and a small battery of only 1.2 kWh are added. Peak power reaches 140 hp. With. This Dacia Jogger is expected to be the most affordable 7-seater hybrid on the market.
Salon and equipment
The interior cannot boast of any surprises – the layout of the novelty is familiar. The developers themselves draw a parallel between the Dacia Jogger and the Swiss army knife – 64 seat configurations.
Versions in the base are made five-seater, with the 2nd row set 55 mm higher than the first. The third row of seats is optionally available, and it is also lower than the second by 25 mm, but according to the assurances of the company’s developers, two adults will fit here. For seven-seat cars, the rear windows can be folded down.
In the luggage compartment there are two hooks for hanging bags and there is a 12 V socket. The volume of the compartment varies, depending on the layout of the seats:
- with raised backs – 708 l;
- with the 2nd row folded – 1,819 liters.
As for the seven-seater Jogger, in fact, the car is devoid of a trunk – standard 160 liters, and if you fold the third row, the volume will increase to only 565 liters. In addition, the cabin accommodates various compartments with a total volume of 24 liters.
For the base model, a multifunctional steering wheel is available, which is adjustable both in height and reach. To replace the standard multimedia system, a Media Control complex is provided, which includes 2 speakers. There is also a mount for a mobile gadget.
There is also a USB connector and Bluetooth. The driver needs to install the application on his smartphone, and then connect it to the car – it turns out a good replacement for the regular multimedia. A complete Media Display system with touch screen (8″) is available as an option.
The dashboard is represented by analog scales. Climate control is already taken from expensive Renault models. In addition, the basic equipment includes:
- rain and light sensors;
- airbags in the amount of 6 pcs.;
- ESP;
- automatic braking system;
- blind spot monitoring.
Top models will receive more functional equipment, including the ability to start the engine with a button, a rain sensor and other goodies.
Prices and equipment Dacia Jogger
In the cheapest configuration, the price of a car in the salons of French dealers is set from 1.25 million rubles in terms of the exchange rate. This version is equipped with an economical engine (100 hp), which runs on biofuel. The package includes the following options:

- “foglights”.
A “comfort” package with simple cruise control and rear parking sensors costs 16,700 rubles.
The most expensive car with the technical characteristics presented above costs 1.64 million rubles. In addition to the 7-seater saloon, the Limited Edition package includes the following additions:

Time to market
The start of sales of the station wagon is scheduled for February 2022. About 15 thousand euros will be asked for the car. There is a possibility that subsequently Jogger will try on the Lada nameplate and become a new generation Largus. However, this will obviously not happen soon, because the current Largus literally just survived restyling, and, therefore, some period of stay on the market should be measured for him. On the other hand, there is a strategy to transfer all AvtoVAZ models to the CMF-B platform by 2025. As part of its implementation, the European Jogger can become Russified rather quickly.
