Exterior

When looking at the front of a luxury all-wheel drive sedan, almost everyone will notice the resemblance to the luxurious Rolls-Royce, made in a modern style, as well as a huge grille across the entire height of the front area. To add luxury and formidability, the engineers decided to equip the front area of Aurus Senat with vertical chrome strips made of metal. This also includes the edging of the Aurus Senate front grille, also made of chrome.

At the very top, there was a place for a compact manufacturer’s emblem, which has a triangular shape and the brand’s inscription. You can especially highlight the front optics of a Russian car, which is also similar in shape to a Rolls-Royce or a brand new sedan Chrysler 300. Near the grille there are LED daytime running lights, and the side part has lenses. As the basis for the luxury sedan, the engineers decided to use LED filling. It is immediately important to note that in any version there will be adaptive optics with cornering illumination.

The Aurus Senat was named after the Senate Tower of the Moscow Kremlin.

To give strict features, they decided to make the background of the optics black, which, in addition to novelty, emphasizes aggressive qualities, and also distinguishes the car from other rival cars. Below the optics, at the very bottom of the bumper, the design team decided to place 2 massive air ducts, which are embellished with a mesh insert and a C-shaped chrome edging. By the way, just from these inserts, a chrome edging was stretched around the entire perimeter of the presidential car.

As for the hood, it is very similar to the already familiar Rolls-Royce, equipped with a 2-tier slope, clear lines and a central part that is slightly elongated. With a cursory examination, in fact, you can confuse a Russian car with an English one. Even the base Aurus Senate has a thick windshield that protects against direct hits from large objects. To improve the aerodynamic characteristics of the car, the company’s specialists decided to tilt it back. It received a rain sensor, full heating and heating in the parking area of the “wipers”.

The side part is already different from the body type – there is a limousine or a traditional sedan. External distinguishing points between these options are concluded only in the length of the base. Unlike the front end, similar to the “British”, the side of the car is similar to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Bentley. This is partly due to the massive door panels, small side windows, as well as wide chrome trim around the perimeter of the glass. As for the central pillars, they are only black. The door handles are made of steel and also received a chrome finish, as is the molding at the bottom of the doors.

The side mirrors are thought out to the smallest detail, which had a positive effect on the quality of the review. In addition, when the car is moving in reverse, the mirrors automatically lower down to better see the surroundings. They boast heating, electric adjustment, automatic folding and LED turn signals.

The sedan or Aurus Senate Limousine rests on huge 20-inch alloy wheels. Interestingly, the tires are made in such a way that you can drive about 120 km on a punctured wheel. Electronics will automatically pump up tires. Not without a tire pressure monitoring system. The ride height was 200 millimeters.

There was one more interesting moment. As such, there are no thresholds in the Aurus Senate, the experts decided to extend the door part to the very bottom.

The back looks very respectable. The car has bright rectangular brake lights with LED filling, as well as smooth lines throughout the rear. One bend made the rear window and the luggage compartment lid. You can open it using all available methods, where you can include the button hidden under the license plate.

There are not many decorative details on the stern of Aurus Senat, except for a small chrome insert on the lid and the company’s nameplate. The bumper turned out to be discreet and has no unnecessary elements. You can see only the chrome trim and two tips of the exhaust system. Bentley style is very recognizable here. The curb weight of the Aurus Senate is 2,740 kg, which is quite a lot. But an armored limousine as much as 6,500 kg.

However, even without this, we can safely say that the Russian flagship will have one of the best security systems in its class. The car has received almost all the features that can only be imagined today. A lot of electronic assistants, sensors, cameras, increased body rigidity, a set of airbags, seat belts and ERA-GLONASS – all this suggests that passengers will be protected as much as possible during the trip.
