Curved lines, strict details of the body and decorative elements, as well as new design solutions – these are the details that have changed the most. The front of the Range Rover 2022 SUV has new optics, although at first glance it’s hard to say what’s new.

Depending on the configuration and the wishes of the buyer, the optics can be LED or matrix, with pronounced LED daytime running lights. Optics differs from the previous generation in more strict lines and thin black edging on the side wings. This is best seen in the running lights.

The lines themselves have become more rigorous, similarly to the insertion of LED running lights into the grille frame. The main grille insert has been redesigned. No less changes were made to the front bumper of the Range Rover 2021. Not to say that now it looks better, but the changes are still noticeable. The bumper has got a flat rectangular insert in the center and full width, although earlier it was an inverted U-shaped insert. In the bumper of the new Range Rover, a grille was installed along the contour, with various sensors and sensors.

In the center, an insert was added to match the body color, with thin, horizontal LED foglights. The inscription of the model at the end of the hood remained unchanged, but the hood itself changed its design a bit. He lost two curved notches on the sides, replacing them with simple lines. The central part of the hood also became flatter, not swollen. In addition to all this, the edge of the hood in the new SUV has become soft, a generation earlier it was strict and rough.

Now the insert is made in a U-shape and is located only on the front doors.

The color of the insert is standard, silver and without any options. As for the body colors of the Range Rover 2022, there is plenty to choose from. So the choice of the buyer is offered:

This entire 2022 Range Rover set highlights a small rear bumper. It is made of black glossy plastic. This is of course a minus, as it will quickly become covered with dust and micro-scratches. On the sides of the bumper there are two horizontal foglights and rear parking sensors. The bumper is emphasized by a chrome trim, which is essentially a diffuser. A little lower you can see two twin tips of the exhaust system.

The third row can only be ordered for a long-wheelbase vehicle, it is installed 41 mm above the second row seats, is designed for adult passengers, has heating and electric folding. Trunk volume behind the third row is 312 liters. For two-row machines, the compartment holds 1061 liters (long wheelbase) or 818 liters (short wheelbase). The shelf can be electrically lifted (for a surcharge), and a powerful divider is also provided, which is attached to the floor and can be used as a backrest while relaxing on a picnic.

Range Rover has a new electronic architecture EVA 2.0, which integrates 70 electronic units and can be remotely updated “over the air” using the Pivi Pro media system (two eSIMs installed, working in parallel). The head unit itself has a 13.1-inch curved screen with vibration feedback when pressed, but, fortunately, a separate climate control panel with analog handles is retained. The instrument screen has a diagonal of 13.7 inches, there is a projection display, and a screen is built into the salon mirror, which transmits the image from the rear camera (it is installed in one of the two “fins” on the roof).

Following the younger models, the large Range Rover can be ordered with fabric upholstery: expensive Ultrafabrics textiles and Kvadrat wool blends are offered. However, it is possible to order semi-aniline or (for the first time) fully aniline leather. On the second row, there are two 11.4-inch screens with HDMI connectors, and for cars with electric rear seats, there is also an eight-inch touchscreen in the center armrest.

The top version of the Signature Suite has separate rear seats with power and massage, a massive central tunnel and folding tables (also with power). And then there’s the Range Rover SV, with special interior trim and ceramic decorative elements. The most expensive Meridian Signature media system has 35 speakers, 1600 watts of power and an advanced active noise reduction system in the cabin: an inverted signal is fed to miniature 20-watt speakers built into the headrests of the four “main” seats.

He intends to push the models more expensive

Despite the decent difference in cost, it is absolutely impossible to stop thinking about the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan. After all, the new Range Rover with all its configurators shows that it does not intend to make life easier for these guys. And we are not talking about exquisite finishing materials like open-pore veneer. And not even about the seats with a million variations of massage. Customers who have chosen the version SV (it is based on the execution SV Autobiography), receive the widest range of personalization options, including 14 exclusive shades.
